Warnham Evening Flower Club was formed in March 1961 and now has a membership of over 60 drawn from the village and surrounding areas. We are an active club and meet at 7.00pm for 7.30pm on the 3rd Tuesday of the month, February to July and September to December. We usually have a demonstration by a qualified flower arranger, with a raffle for the wonderful designs at the end of the evening. Refreshments are served before the raffle. Members bring in their own design for the monthly competition, judged by a qualified judge or the demonstrator and the winner is presented with the Olive Stanford Cup. We also run workshops, arrange outings and hold social events. Annual membership for 2021 has been rolled over due to Covid.. Visitors are most welcome to attend for a fee of £7 per visit. See the membership Application Page for more details. We are affiliated to the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS) and are very proud to have the Chairman of NAFAS Dr Christina Curtis, Sussex Area President Jean Plaskett, Sussex Area Chairman Jilly Griffin and a number of qualified Demonstrators and Judges who are members of our club. The Sussex Area of NAFAS also organises workshops, members days and flower arranging classes for beginners and improvers. Details are given out at our club meetings. Do come along and enjoy an evening of flower! We look forward to seeing you soon.
